Invited to a wedding?
- Who's texting me?
- The couple who invited you is using Hooray to keep everyone posted. The texts come from us on their behalf, in their voice, and only ever about their wedding.
- Where do I find my schedule and RSVP?
- One link, and it's all there: the schedule built for you, your RSVP, and somewhere to ask a question — for every wedding you're invited to. It takes the mobile number the couple has for you — no password, no app. Sign in →
- Can I just text back a question?
- Yes — just reply to the number that messaged you. Where the couple has Hooray answering for them, you'll hear straight back on times, places and what to wear, and only ever from what they've shared with their guests. Anything that's theirs to decide — plus-ones, seating, whether the dress code bends — goes to them, and that answer should be theirs.
- My name isn't on the guest list
- The couple keeps their own guest list, so they're the only ones who can add you — a quick word with them is all it takes.
How you hear from us
You choose this per wedding. Open the wedding you're asking about and go to RSVP & Communications — from there, updates can arrive by text, by email, or both, or you can pause them for a while. Your RSVP and schedule stay put either way. It takes the mobile number the couple has for you — no password, no app. Sign in →
Not getting messages?
- Sign in first — every wedding you're on should be listed, however long ago it was. If one's missing, the couple has a different number for you, so ask them to check it.
- Open that wedding and go to RSVP & Communications. If the couple's texts got turned off at some point, it says so right there.
- Switching to email is the quickest way back — updates start arriving again straight away. You'll need an address on your account, and there's a link to add one if we don't have it.
- To get the texts themselves going again, reply START to the couple's old thread. Switching them back on in your settings doesn't reach your phone company, so that reply is the part that does the work.
- Don't have that thread any more? Email works without it. Or write to us with the couple's names and we'll tell you which number to text.
And if you'd rather not get texts at all, reply STOP to any of them and they'll stop right away. It changes nothing about your invitation.

Planning a wedding?
- What do my guests actually get?
- A text from you when something changes, and a schedule built for them rather than for the whole guest list at once — Nonna's version doesn't mention the after-party. No app to download and no password: they open a link and verify with a code on their phone. When you go live, the Concierge answers their questions too, in your voice and only from details you've confirmed, so “what time do I need to be there?” stops arriving in your phone at 11pm.
- Where does Hooray work?
- Hooray currently texts US phone numbers only. Guests with other numbers get updates by email when you add one for them, and can still use their schedule and the Concierge on the web with a code sent to that email.
- Can I use Hooray for my wedding yet?
- Not for everyone yet — we're letting couples in a few at a time, so every wedding gets our full attention. Put your name on the waitlist with your wedding date, and the moment it's your turn your invite lands in your inbox. Save my seat →
- How do I get my wedding details in?
- Four ways, and you can mix them — most couples start with their website.
- Already have a wedding website? Paste the link and Hooray reads it — dates, venues, times, dress code, hotels — and fills in your schedule in about a minute. Quickest way in by far, and it works with Zola, WithJoy, The Knot, Minted, or a site you built yourself.
- Details sitting in a document? Upload a PDF, or pull one straight in from Google Drive.
- Scattered across notes and emails? Paste in whatever you've got — a planning doc, a forwarded email, rough notes. Hooray picks out the details that matter.
- No website yet? Start fresh and we'll build it together — Hooray has never needed one.
Whatever you bring in, you confirm it before it counts — nothing becomes a fact just because a website said so. Two things worth knowing: a password-protected site needs its password, which you can type in right there, and a scanned PDF usually comes up short, so paste the text instead.
- How does setting up actually go?
- Three screens, and you can stop and come back at any point.
- Sign in with your phone number or Google, and tell us who's getting married.
- Bring in your details, or start fresh.
- Meet your wedding — your schedule, your people, and a preview of how Hooray sounds as you.
From then on Hooray shows you the one next thing worth doing, and nothing more — add your guests, look over the message plan it drafted for you, then go live when it all sounds like you.
- What does it cost?

Tell us which wedding you're asking about and we'll sort it out. If you're a guest, the couple's names and the number that texted you are all we need. A real person reads that inbox. 🤍
